Yes, there is a designated parking area beside our property.
Can Barbeque be arranged?
We can make arrangements for barbeque. After room booking, ask the caretaker. Barbecue arrangements are made locally on prior request only.
What are the Cancellation rules?
- Full pre-payment for accommodation on all bookings is compulsory.
- Cancellation request received 10 days prior to arrival, will be refunded at 90% on the total billed amount.
- Cancellation request received 6-9 days prior to arrival, will be refunded at 75% on the total billed amount.
- Cancellation received 3-5 days prior to arrival, will be refunded at 50% on the total billed amount.
- Cancellation received 48 hours prior to arrival, NO REFUND will be allowed.
- During the stay or on arrival, if part cancellations are requested, NO REFUND will be allowed.
For cancellation request email us to booking@chandnijaltungi.com mentioning your name and Booking Slip Number.
How to book for Day-Visit?
We allow Day-Visit only on pre-booking. Use the enquiry form on "Day-Visit" page of this website to drop enquiry. We will reply with all details and availability. Total Day-Visit charge = Package Food Cost + Room Tariff.
What are the food options?
Food is supplied from our own kitchen and served in the dining hall. Cuisine is generally Bengali. Food must be ordered at least 24 hours before visit.
Transport arrangements for local sightseeing?
Yes, our caretaker can make arrangements for local sightseeing in toto/ car. Charges are payable on spot. If you take your own vehicle, he will guide you about the directions.
Pick-up services from Guskhara Railway Station?
The Autos at the Guskhara Railway Station would bring you to Chandni Jaltungi (around 8 kms). The Autos are available till evening. However, if you want, we can also arrange an Auto for your pick-up from Guskhara Railway Station.
How to reach Chandni Jaltungi?
By Train – There are local as well as passenger trains to Guskhara Station (Station code GKH) from Howrah and Sealdah Stations. You can check erail.in for train timings.
By Road (from Kolkata) - Drive towards Bardhaman via Durgapur Expressway - take right from Nababhaat more (opp Renaissance complex) towards Gushkara via Sekampur-Sahapur road - take left from Guskara crossing - move towards Guskara Railway station. Cross Railway level Crossing - Move towards Dariyapur on Abhirampur-Guskhara Road. Cross Dariyapur reach Dignagar Bus Stand (Keotala) - Move towards Dignagar-1 Gram Panchayat Office - Move straight to reach Chandni Jaltungi.
How to book for Photo-Shoot?
We allow Photoshoot only on pre-booking. Use the enquiry form on "Photoshoot" page of this website to drop enquiry. We will reply with all details and availability. Outside food is not allowed in our premises. If you require additional light arrangements or equipments that need electrical connections additional charges will be applicable. Total Photo shoot charge = Rs.2000 + Food Cost + Room Tariff.
